Research on the prototype of collaborative operation mode in electronic printing industry

Abstract

facing the introduction of digital printing technology, the domestic printing production operation mechanism is bound to further respond and adjust, whether it is order processing, raw material supply and procurement, printing operation, binding processing, distribution and marketing channels, and even the customer response processing level, so as to optimize the integration process to maximize the production efficiency of digital printing production, In order to respond to customers, markets and competitors immediately and quickly, and at this time, the establishment of cooperative operation mechanism will meet the above requirements. The operational research framework of the "supply chain collaborative operation mode of electronic printing enterprises" proposed in this paper is to integrate printing plants, printing raw material suppliers, prepress companies, post press processing plants and logistics operators into a "printing digital service operational research system". The main electronic printing enterprises coordinate the production and delivery of printing products, and cooperate with collaborative design Cooperate with printing factory groups, raw material suppliers and logistics companies through mechanisms such as collaborative distribution and collaborative services. In addition to changing the original traditional production and operation mode, the focus of this paper is to integrate information flow and logistics into the whole operation system of operation research, and to explore and analyze the division of labor and distribution process of each collaborative unit. The results of this paper are intended to provide a reference for the future supply chain process integration of the printing industry and the basis for the development of the printing industry collaborative operation system

I. preface

"there is no sunset industry, only sunset management.", This sentence is really applicable to the current business situation of more than 4000 printing plants in Taiwan. The impact of information technology has indeed completely changed the business model of the traditional economic system, whether it is the overall supply and demand mode, market structure and transaction mode. As a traditional manufacturing industry, the printing industry is also facing the impact of the wave of digitalization. However, from another point of view, the impact of information technology is not a bad thing. Thanks to the integration of information technology, the production mode of printing operations has gradually entered the stage of digitalization and fully automatic and consistent production. The characteristic of digital printing production process is to shorten the operation process, increase accuracy and save production costs. Coupled with the concept of environmental protection, it must become the mainstream production mode of printing in the future. Coupled with the development of road transmission technology and the integration of some new printing technologies, such as digital proofing, Di, etc., customers can place remote orders on the road in the future, and then print in different places Binding and publishing. It can be seen that the workflow of digital printing has a far-reaching impact and change on the operation mode of printing plants. The introduction of digital printing process is not only the upgrading and replacement of comprehensive printing equipment, but also the expenditure of cost injection. In fact, it also has the incentive of its market niche

according to Jill Roth (2002) in his "digital printing: emerging markets" discussion, in the future, due to the increasing popularity of digital printing processes, coupled with the continuous research and development and progress of digital printing equipment and technology, in the future, this requires the efforts of enterprises themselves, and the production mode of printing brush will move in the direction of diversification and non fixed format printing, that is to say, the printing is no longer one edition to the end, Instead, we need to make flexible adjustments in printing in line with the dynamics of the whole market and consumer needs. In the first half of 2016, we need to revise and output. In the future, the development trend of digital printing will be in the direction of a small number of changes, flexible version changes, and high-quality and high value-added printing products. In particular, the commercial printing effect (commercial printing market, such as high-quality catalogues, corporate image publications, etc.) is more significant, As shown in the figure

in addition, Jill Roth (2002) also mentioned that the production time cycle of printed parts will also be greatly shortened due to the introduction of digital printing equipment and technology. As shown in the figure, in the future, a printed part will be completed in one day from planning to output. This extremely fast production speed is no longer a distant dream. Compared with the traditional printing process, the introduction of digital printing process is indeed of great help to improve the production efficiency of the printing industry. In addition, it can save labor costs, diversify printing products and meet the requirements and standards of environmental protection policies

in the face of the introduction of digital printing technology, the domestic printing industry must further respond to and adjust the requirements of the majority of users for products, and the production operation mechanism, whether it is order processing, raw material supply and procurement, processing processing, distribution channels, and even the customer response processing level, so as to optimize the process integration to maximize the production efficiency of digital printing production, so as to respond to customers immediately and quickly Market and competitors. At this time, the mechanism of collaborative operation will meet the above requirements. In addition to changing the original traditional production and operation mode, information flow and logistics will be incorporated into the whole operation system of operation research, and the division of labor and distribution process of each collaborative unit will be discussed and analyzed, which is the focus of this paper

II. Discussion on the cooperative mode of collaborative operation among enterprises

in today's industrial environment, enterprises also find that just optimizing the internal operation process of enterprises can not meet the urgent needs of enterprises to quickly respond to the market. Therefore, from the early stage, the enterprise focused on the internal of the enterprise, focusing on improving the productivity of employees and the integration of processes, and then gradually shifted the focus to e-commerce, so that enterprises and enterprises or enterprises and consumers can conduct electronic transactions or communication through tools such as electronic data exchange, so as to reduce operating costs. Up to now, the focus of enterprises is the related issues of e-business, which emphasizes the integration of information and operational processes between different trading partners. However, in the process of integration, the successful integration of processes and information between enterprises and trading partners relies on the mechanism of "collaboration". By using collaborative operation, enterprises can integrate the process and information of trading partners (upstream suppliers and downstream clients), and make optimal arrangements according to the current situation of enterprise resources (including internal resources and external resources), so as to respond to customers, markets and competitors immediately and quickly

gartner group pointed out that the evolution of enterprise application of information technology began in 2000, and has evolved from enterprise internal system in 1995 to value chain/supply chain integrated information system and e-commerce from 1995 to 2000 to the current era of Collaborative Commerce (Burdick, 1999). The definition put forward by Gartner Group for collaboration is: collaborative operation is a model that can achieve the dynamic cooperation of employees, business partners and customers in the whole trading community or market (Burdick, 1999). In the mode of collaborative operation, enterprises can use the power of the international road to integrate the supply chain and achieve information sharing, so that enterprises can obtain greater profits. In a broad sense, the coordination and cooperation of business activities between all enterprises can be included in the scope of collaboration. Therefore, the objects involved in collaborative operation are not limited to the suppliers and purchasers of the transaction, but also include suppliers, partners, distributors, service providers, customers, etc. the scope of activities involved is no longer limited to some or even up to 20% of the transaction itself, from upstream product design, supply chain planning, forecasting, to downstream logistics, marketing, etc. Because the definition of collaborative work is very broad, scholars and the industry also have different perspectives on the definition and classification of the so-called collaboration. (Chen Xiaoping, 2002)

Huang Beiling (2001) pointed out that any form of collaboration (product design, supply chain planning, forecasting, logistics, marketing, etc.) in business exchanges between departments within an enterprise or between enterprises (suppliers, partners, distributors, service providers, customers, etc.) can be regarded as collaborative operations. There are many opportunities and channels for collaboration between enterprises, as shown in the figure:

metagroup divides collaboration into four types of cooperation, including design collaboration, marketing/selling collaboration, purchasing collaboration, and planning/forecasting collaboration. (to be continued)
